About Dr. John Koshy
Dr. John Koshy is a board-certified, double fellowship-trained plastic surgeon who specializes in adult and pediatric hand and reconstructive surgery.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in combined sciences at Youngtown State University in Ohio in 2004 as part of an integrated six-year medical program. He completed his medical degree at Northeastern Ohio Medical University in Rootstown in 2009. Dr. Koshy completed his Plastic Surgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, in 2017. He then completed a fellowship in hand surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in 2018 and a fellowship in pediatric hand surgery at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta in Georgia in 2019.
Prior to joining Kelsey-Seybold in April 2022, Dr. Koshy was an assistant professor at Baylor College of Medicine and a pediatric and adult hand surgeon and plastic and reconstructive surgeon at Texas Children’s Hospital and Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Koshy is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
