Outpatient Orthopedic and Podiatry Procedures
At our Ambulatory Surgery Center – Berthelsen Main Campus, Kelsey-Seybold orthopedic surgeons perform arthroscopic hand, wrist, foot, and ankle surgery as well as procedures of the spine, hip, knee, shoulder, and elbow, with on-site technology including MRI, X-ray, lab diagnosis, and operating rooms.
Our advanced surgical, anesthesia, and pain management techniques allow for faster recovery, at-home pain management, and fewer complications.
As an example, instead of having to recover during an overnight stay at the hospital, a patient who has undergone shoulder surgery may have a catheter implanted which releases low levels of pain medication for three days following the procedure, allowing the patient to recover at home and avoid taking narcotic pain medications.
