Compassionate and Convenient Infusion Therapy Services

Kelsey-Seybold Cancer Center locations offer outpatient infusion therapy services in a calming and comfortable environment. With four locations across the region, we are close to home and work and convenient for patients.

Infusion Therapy services include:

  • Chemotherapy
  • Injectable anticoagulants
  • Intravenous administration of medications, including antibiotics, antifungals, antivirals, and hydration solutions
  • Patient teaching and education
  • Routine care for venous access devices
  • Ambulatory pumps
  • Iron infusions
  • IVIG-immune globulin (gamma globulin)
  • Therapeutic phlebotomies
  • Remicade and other biotherapy treatments

Our multidisciplinary team of hematologists/oncologists, chemotherapy-certified nurses, pharmacists, and social workers coordinate the care of each patient. Our experienced nurses cultivate close relationships with our patients who come for daily, weekly, or monthly treatments for extended periods.

Dedicated clinical pharmacists are also an important part of our treatment team. Our nurses and clinical pharmacists are dedicated to the safety of each patient receiving infusion therapy. The design of our Infusion Therapy centers was meticulously planned to meet the needs of patients and enable the clinicians, pharmacists, and staff to provide better care.

Comfortable, Healing Setting with Modern Amenities

Our Cancer Center team wants everyone who enters our Infusion Therapy centers to feel welcome from the moment they walk through the doors. The warm color palette, comfortable furnishings, and a tranquil view of the outdoors invite patients into relaxing surroundings that promote healing. And that’s important, since most patients spend an average of four to six hours in the infusion area getting their treatment.

Each private infusion bay is equipped with amenities such as reading materials, music, television, Wi-Fi access, and outlets for electronic devices, along with infusion recliners and blanket warmers.
