In 2007, Dr. Dang graduated from The University of Texas Medical School. He continued his education at UT, completing both his Internal Medicine residency and Nephrology fellowship in 2012. As an Internal Medicine - Hospitalist at Kelsey-Seybold, Dr. Dang cares for hospitalized patients.

Presented case of pulmonary nocardiosis in kidney transplant patient despite taking Bactrim for PCP prophylaxis. Reviewed case series of Nocardia infection prevalence from various transplant programs, treatment modalities and suggested to alter prophylaxis treatment to daily single strength Bactrim.“Hypertensive Disorders of Pregnancy,” Grand Rounds, University of Texas Medical School- Houston, Texas, June 6, 2011. Discussed diagnosis and management of hypertension during pregnancy with emphasis on pathogenesis of preeclampsia, particularly the VEGF, sFlt-1 and sEng.

Retrospective review of cutaneous abscesses from HIV patients showing a high prevalence of community acquired MRSA and offer antimicrobial recommendations for empiric coverage of CA-MRSA.
