Dhruv Bhakta, MD, is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician who specializes in hospitalist care. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock in 2018 and completed his residency in 2021 at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Temple. Dr. Bhakta was the Internal Medicine chief resident at Baylor Scott & White from 2021 to 2022. During his tenure there, he provided clinical education training to residents and medical students and cared for inpatients, including those recovering from COVID-19. He joined Kelsey-Seybold in July 2022.

The most interesting/exotic place Dr. Bhakta has been in is Thailand, where he spent a month learning at a hospital in Chiang Mai and also had the opportunity to care for a herd of Elephants for a day.
