The Healthy Living Workshop is a multi-class virtual series designed for adults wanting to incorporate healthy habits into their daily life! Whether you want to lose weight, prevent the progression of prediabetes to type 2 diabetes, or simply maintain a healthier lifestyle, this program has relevant information and tips.
In the first three classes, our dietitians will help you establish a healthy relationship with food and nutrition, set sustainable goals, and provide exercise tips to gain personal strength, endurance, and confidence. These classes can be taken in any order, so you can pick and choose which classes are right for you.
The topics for these classes are:
- Class 1: Building Healthy Habits Through Nutrition, Exercise, and Setting Sustainable Goals
- Class 2: How Exercise Helps Improve Quality of Life and Longevity
- Class 3: Healthy Eating Habits and Meal Planning
If you have been using the methods discussed in classes one through three for a meaningful amount of time without seeing results, then class 4 may be for you. During this class, bariatric surgeon Dr. Shravan Sarvepalli discusses medical interventions and surgical treatment that may be appropriate for you.
