​Ambulatory Surgery Center Urology Services

At our state-of-the art Urology suite, our specialists can safely perform 70% to 80% of urological procedures formerly done in a hospital setting.

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic has the largest freestanding non-hospital based Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) in Texas at our Berthelsen Main Campus. This ASC location and the North Houston Campus ASC are accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). Our surgeons and staff are dedicated to expertly delivering outpatient urological surgery and procedures in a convenient, caring environment.

Most of our surgical procedures can be performed in one day at our Urology suite at the ASC without the need for an overnight hospital stay. Our board-certified surgeons and anesthesiologists, registered nurses, and medical technicians are professionally trained in surgical and recovery care.

The urological surgery services and procedures performed in our ASC include:

• Brachytherapy
• Hernia treatment
• Kidney stone removal
• Sling procedure for incontinence
• TURBT (Trans Urethral Resection of Bladder Tumor)
• TURP (Trans Urethral Resection of Prostate)
• Vasectomy/vasectomy reversal
