Ambulatory Surgery Center Accrediation

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).

We are committed to providing quality care to our patients and the same high level of conduct in our business practices. Accreditation by AAAHC is confirmation of this commitment and signifies that we have met the rigorous standards of a nationally recognized third party.

All Kelsey-Seybold providers meet or exceed the credentialing standards of the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).

This means that our credentialed staff, affiliate and ancillary providers all have primary license verification and background checks through the National Practitioners Data Bank (NPDB) and the Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB), and are privileged through clinic review.

All of our physicians are licensed by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners. Kelsey-Seybold Clinic’s policy is to consider only physician candidates who have completed a U.S. residency program and are board certified or have completed training in preparation for board certification in their respective medical specialties.

Additionally, our Endoscopy Unit at our Ambulatory Surgery Center – Berthelsen Main Campus is one of only five in Greater Houston that has have received national recognition for superior quality and safety by the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE). Our Ambulatory Surgery Center is licensed by the Texas Department of Health.
