After completing a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering in 2004 at the University of Texas in Austin, Yu-Lin Chung-Nielsen, MD, earned a Doctor of Medicine degree at UT Southwestern in Dallas in 2008, going on to complete both an internship and an Internal Medicine residency there in 2009 and 2011, respectively. Dr. Chung-Nielsen joined Kelsey-Seybold in September 2023 after serving as an internist at a variety of private clinics.
With a profound admiration of the intricacy and complexity of the human body, Dr. Chung-Nielsen sees patients for well care and the treatment and management of acute and chronic conditions such as Type 2 diabetes, hypertension, fatty liver, depression, cholesterol, hypothyroidism, COPD, asthma, and acute kidney failure. A strong believer in the power of lifestyle changes and evidence-based medicine, Dr. Chung-Nielsen’s favorite part of practicing medicine is seeing patients’ health improve.
