Dr. Yelena Krupnik completed her medical degree in 1988 from Nizhni Novgorod State Medical Academy in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. She worked at a hospital in Russia as an internist for several years before moving to the United States with her family. After her relocation, she worked at MD Anderson Cancer Center as a researcher while obtaining her certification. After completing her Family Medicine residency training at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, Dr. Krupnik worked as a Family Medicine physician at a private practice in Houston from 2009 to 2016. Prior to joining Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in 2018, Dr. Krupnik served as a Family Medicine physician at a group practice in Cy-Fair.

Dr. Krupnik enjoys traveling, hiking, cooking, and singing.

Dr. Krupnik says the best advice she’s ever received is “Enjoy the present, don’t regret the past or worry about the future.” The most beautiful place she’s ever seen is Ireland.
