Dr. Trang completed his medical training at The University of Texas Medical Branch in 2008. He completed his residency and fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine. He was Baylor chief resident at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in 2012. He joined Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in July 2015.

Awards
In addition to being on the dean’s list every semester, Dr. Trang was also awarded the Marcel Patterson Prize in Gastroenterology and the Intern of the Month at Ben Taub Hospital. He was selected to be a Texas American College of Physicians representative and earned the position of chief resident for 2011-2012 at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center.

Dr. Trang’s favorite actors are Liam Neeson and Will Smith. The best advice he ever received was “Find a job you love and you will never work a day in your life.” He believes he has found this with a career in gastroenterology.
