Dr. Teryn Perkins earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Prairie View A&M University in Texas in 2014, graduating summa cum laude. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in Lubbock, Texas, in 2018. She completed her Pediatrics residency at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston in 2021. She joined Kelsey-Seybold in August 2021.

Hobbies & Interests
Dr. Perkins enjoys baking, do-it-yourself projects, and playing the piano. Most of all, she cherishes spending time with her family, friends, and two dogs.
Fun Facts
Not everyone knows this about Dr. Perkins, but she participated in medical trips abroad to Costa Rica and India. In Costa Rica, she saw patients in both the clinic and hospital settings, as well as through in-home visits. While there, she learned medical Spanish while fully immersed in the culture and even got to live with a host family. In India, she spent two weeks seeing patients with various infectious diseases at King George’s Medical University Hospital. While in India, she also visited the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
Dr. Perkins’ guilty pleasure is baking desserts. Her favorite songs to play on the piano are “Fur Elise” by Beethoven and “The Pink Panther,” which is her dad’s favorite.
