Prior to becoming a pulmonologist, Dr. Daniel worked for three years as an intern at the Nassau County Medical Center in East Meadow, New York. Following his fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine from Baylor College of Medicine, he joined the full-time faculty at Baylor College of Medicine. A year later, he joined Kelsey-Seybold Clinic and now practices Pulmonary, Sleep and Critical Care Medicine.

- Dr. Daniel is actively involved in research to help identify the factors that impact the quality of care delivered in the Intensive Care Unit.
Publications
- Dr. Daniel has published articles in peer-reviewed journals and is in the process of writing a paper on ICU quality based on research performed in 2008.
Hobbies & Interests
When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Daniel enjoys spending time with his children. A sports enthusiast, he also enjoys playing tennis, jogging, skiing, watching movies and going to church with them. He’s also an avid chess player and is interested in astronomy.
