Sumaira Shafi, MD, is a hematologist and oncologist at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic. Dr. Shafi earned her medical degree at Dow Medical College in Pakistan in 2008. In 2016, she completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center in New York. Dr. Shafi then completed her fellowship in Hematology-Oncology at Baylor College of Medicine in 2019.
Dr. Shafi diagnoses and treats a wide range of blood disorders, such as anemia and adult cancers. Here clinical interests include multiple myeloma, lung cancer, and breast and GI malignancy. She joined Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in October 2023.
