Dr. Stefanie Teng completed her medical degree in 2009 from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Cincinnati Hospital in 2012. From 2012 to 2013, Dr. Teng was a hospitalist physician at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center, where she provided inpatient care for complex geriatric patients and participated in multidisciplinary rounds in delivery of care. Prior to joining Kelsey-Seybold in 2018, Dr. Teng spent five years as an Internal Medicine primary care physician at Austin Diagnostic Clinic where she specialized in outpatient primary care and preventive healthcare, and diagnosed and managed acute and chronic conditions.
Hobbies & Interests
Dr. Teng enjoys building community at church, eating out with her husband, and exercising by walking in the park or participating in gym classes.
Fun Facts
The most exotic places Dr. Teng has visited are India, Kenya and Singapore. Her guilty pleasure is watching movie trailers. As a child, she wanted to sing in a professional choir when she grew up because she loved listening to group vocal performances.
