Sina Rezaei, MD, attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, obtaining his medical degree in 2019. From there, he went on to Henry Ford Health in Detroit, Michigan, where he completed his internship and Ophthalmology residency in 2023. Dr. Rezaei then completed a Cornea, External Disease, and Refractive Surgery fellowship at the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor in 2024. He joined the Kelsey-Seybold Ophthalmology department in September 2024.

As an ophthalmologist, Dr. Rezaei treats a wide variety of eye conditions, ranging from cataracts to many corneal issues and early glaucoma. He has a particular interest in cataracts, keratoconus, and other corneal conditions such as Fuchs Dystrophy. Dr. Rezaei’s favorite part of practicing medicine is the profound impact he can have on his patients’ lives. Seeing the joy and relief on a patient’s face when they regain their sight is incredibly rewarding to him.

Hobbies & Interests

In his spare time, Dr. Rezaei enjoys traveling, hiking, and keeping up with the Houston sports teams, especially the Cougars and Rockets.
