Dr. Shahnawaz Khan earned his undergraduate degree in 2009 at The University of Texas in Austin, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biology. He completed his medical degree in 2014 at Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica, West Indies. He completed his residency in Family Medicine in 2017 at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Prior to joining Kelsey-Seybold in 2019, Dr. Khan cared for patients at Coastal Health and Wellness.

The best advice Dr. Khan has ever received is that “our greatest happiness does not depend on the condition of life in which chance has placed us, but is always the result of a good conscience, good health, occupation, and freedom in all just pursuits.”
Not everyone knows this about Dr. Khan, but he’s a huge Houston Rockets and Texans fan and has a black belt in martial arts.
