Samarina Ahmad, MD, attended Charring Cross and Westminster Medical School College of Science Technology and Medicine, earning her medical degree in 1996. She went on to complete her Internal Medicine internship and residency at Johns Hopkins University/Sinai Hospital Program in Baltimore, Maryland, in 2005. After completing fellowships in Geriatrics and wound care at Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Ahmad joined Kelsey-Seybold in September 2023.
Dr. Ahmad pursued medicine with a lifelong ambition of becoming a doctor and chose Internal Medicine to embrace the wide variety of conditions it presents. Patients see Dr. Ahmad for preventive care and treatment of acute and chronic conditions, including seasonal illness, sinus infections, minor injuries, breathing issues, joint pain, and more. Dr. Ahmad has a particular interest in Geriatrics. Her favorite part of practicing medicine is learning from her patients.
