After earning his physician assistant post-baccalaureate at University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia in 2006, Ronald Baptiste, MD, completed his medical degree at Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C., in 2011. He went on to complete his Internal Medicine internship at Howard University Hospital in 2012 and his residency at UT Southwestern in 2015. He joined Kelsey-Seybold in August 2023 and is double-board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Board of Obesity Medicine.
With a particular interest in treating musculoskeletal pain, joint pain, and obesity, Dr. Baptiste also treats adult patients for issues such as back pain, numbness in extremities, spasticity, and weight management. His favorite part of practicing medicine is seeing a patient return to let him know how much better they feel with treatment.
Dr. Baptiste was appointed Chief of Kelsey-Seybold's Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department in April 2024.
Hobbies & Interests
When he is not treating patients, Dr. Baptiste enjoys cycling, running, playing the guitar, cooking, spending time with children, and reviewing health data.
