Dr. Nicole Thurmond is a Family Medicine physician who earned her Bachelor of Science in biology from Ohio State University in Columbus in 2011. She earned her Master of Public Health in 2014 and her medical degree in 2017 from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. She completed her Family Medicine residency at Houston Methodist Hospital in 2021.

Dr. Thurmond enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, movies, trying new restaurants, and cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Fun Facts
The best advice Dr. Thurmond has ever received is “Listen to learn, not to respond.” She says this has helped her build trust and strong, lasting relationships with her patients.
The most interesting place she has visited in Thailand. When she travels, she likes to immerse herself in the culture as much as possible and enjoy the local cuisine.
Not everyone knows this about Dr. Thurmond, but she helped rescue a fellow medical student in the rainforest in Grenada.
Dr. Thurmond’s guilty pleasure is anything chocolate.
