After earning his medical degree at Dow Medical College in 1989, Muhammad Junaid Motiwala, MD, completed his residency at St. Francis Medical Center, affiliated with Robert Wood Johnson University in New Jersey, in 1996. He then completed a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, also in 1996. After seeing patients in private practice for over two decades, Dr. Motiwala joined Kelsey-Seybold in December 2023.
Pursuing medicine with encouragement from his father, Dr. Motiwala sees patients suffering from infection. He can treat all kinds of infection and has a particular interest in bacterial infections. Through his practice, Dr. Motiwala strives to provide his patients with the details of their illness, answer their questions, and satisfy their concerns.
