Milad El Hajj, MD, RPVI, attended Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center – New Orleans, earning his medical degree in 2017. He went on to the Medical University of South Carolina College of Medicine in Charleston to complete his internship and Internal Medicine residency in 2018 and 2020, respectively. Dr. Hajj also completed General, Peripheral Vascular and Interventional Cardiology fellowships at Texas Heart Institute in 2024. He joined Kelsey-Seybold as a board-certified cardiologist in August 2024.
Inspired to pursue medicine by the compassionate care his ill family members received and the passionate mentors who guided him in his career, Dr. El Hajj has a deep curiosity about the workings of the human body. With an interest in problem-solving and a desire to help others, Dr. El Hajj treats the full scope of cardiovascular disease, emphasizing prevention before issues arise by focusing on cholesterol, blood pressure control, and other modifiable risk factors. When cardiovascular conditions do occur, Dr. El Hajj addresses a range of issues from heart pump weakness, leaky or narrow heart valves, and arrhythmias to conditions that produce chest or leg pain with activity. He specializes in minimally invasive valve replacement and interventional procedures for heart, leg, and neck artery blockages, as well as blood clots in the legs and lungs.
