After graduating from Columbia University’s medical school in 1972, Dr. Newmark completed an Internal Medicine residency through the college at Harlem Hospital in 1973. In 1976, Dr. Newmark completed a fellowship at Columbia’s Neurology Institute. He completed his medical education with a fellowship at the National Institute of Health, where he specialized in epilepsy.
