Fun Facts
As a young girl, Dr. Broussard wanted to be an engineer and follow in her father’s footsteps. Then she had the opportunity to visit a local hospital as a high school student. She was deeply impressed with what she witnessed nothing that the students, residents, and physicians served a critical role in patient care, and how medicine was the perfect marriage of science and serving humanity. She knew at that moment that she didn’t want to do anything else but practice medicine for the rest of her life.
