Dr. Lekshmi Pillai Daram earned her medical degree in 2013 at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. She completed her Pediatrics residency in 2016 at Children’s Health, The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW) in Dallas. Dr. Daram is board certified in Pediatrics and is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics. From 2016 to 2018, Dr. Daram served as a primary care physician at Children’s Health Pediatric Group in Dallas. From 2018 to 2020, she was a primary care physician at Near North Health Service Corporation, a Federally Qualified Health Center in Chicago, and a Medical Student Preceptor at A.T. Still University, School of Osteopathic Medicine in Mesa, Ariz. She joined Kelsey-Seybold in September 2019.

Dr. Daram enjoys trying new, vegetarian-friendly restaurants, exploring local parks and outdoor spaces with her husband and two sons, and reading.

The best advice Dr. Daram has ever received is, “Do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life.”
As a child, she already knew she want to be a “baby doctor.”
