Dr. Mullinax earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Houston. She started as a Texas-certified math and science teacher and taught high school for years in Pasadena, Texas. She also taught abroad in Hadano, Japan.
After these experiences, Dr. Mullinax pursued a medical degree from the Texas A&M University College of Medicine in 2003. In 2004, she completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Scott & White in Temple, Texas. In 2007, she completed her residency in Dermatology at Texas Tech University in Lubbock.

Hobbies & Interests
In her spare time, Dr. Mullinax loves to travel and tries to learn enough of her destination’s language to survive on the go. She experiments with ethnic cooking, stress baking and “exercising to burn all those extra calories."Medical School
