Prior to joining Kelsey-Seybold, Dr. Sander earned a molecular and cellular biology degree from the University of Arizona. She graduated Magna Cum laude and was recognized as the outstanding senior in the College of Art and Sciences. Her research emphasis was HSV (herpes simplex virus).
She earned her medical degree at the University of Arizona Medical College in Tucson where she graduated in the top 10% of her class. Dr. Sander moved to Texas in 1997. She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Science residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She emphasizes her comfort with first time well-woman exams and counseling teens.

Hobbies & Interests
When she is not caring for her patients, Dr. Sanders is playing outside with her two sons. She also finds time to exercise daily and enjoys running in marathons.Medical School
