After receiving a Bachelors of Arts degree with a major in biology from Ripon College in Ripon, Wisconsin, Dr. Aliota earned his master’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology at Tulane University Graduate School in New Orleans, Louisiana. He completed his medical degree at Tulane University School of Medicine/Charity Hospital, where he also completed his residency in Internal Medicine and served as chief resident.
In 2006, Dr. Aliota began training at the acclaimed Texas Heart Institute at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital, where he completed both his general cardiology fellowship and interventional cardiology fellowship having served as chief general cardiology fellow and chief interventional fellow during his tenure.
