Dr. Jesse Proett received his Bachelor of Science degree in physics at the University of Houston in 2003, graduating summa cum laude. He earned his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2008. Dr. Proett completed an internship at John Peter Smith Health Network in Fort Worth, Texas, in 2009 and his Diagnostic Radiology residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2013. Dr. Proett completed a fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2014. Prior to joining Kelsey-Seybold in March 2022, Dr. Proett was the medical director of Radiology at HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe and a partner radiologist at Radiology Partners Gulf Coast in Houston.

Dr. Proett enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, playing the drums, and taking evening walks.
Fun Facts
The most interesting place Dr. Proett has lived is Germany while in the U.S. Army.
Not everyone knows this about Dr. Proett, but he teaches second-grade Sunday school at Oak Ridge Baptist Church.
In high school, Dr. Proett didn’t know what career he wanted to go into. So, he told teachers he wanted people to ask him questions ,and he’d give them his opinions. He was joking at the time, but he says that’s pretty much what he does now as a radiologist.
