After receiving his medical degree from Baylor College of Mediciine in 1987, Dr. Rochen completed his Internal Medicine residency in 1990 and his Endocrinology fellowship in 1992 at Wilford Hall U.S. Air Force Medical Center in Texas. Dr. Rochen stayed on staff at Wilford Hall U.S. Air Force Medical Center until 1996 when he joined Kelsey-Seybold.

Dr. Jeffrey Rochen has been recognized with a prestigious national certification for excellence in caring for diabetic patients, awarded by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). Certification through NCQA’s national Diabetes Recognition Program comes after a comprehensive, individualized review process to verify a physician’s adherence to national standards of excellence in caring for patients diagnosed with diabetes.
Named a Texas Monthly “Super Doctor” and one of Houston's "Top Doctors" by H Texas Magazine, he is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and sub-certified in Endocrinology.
