Jade Zhou, MD, PhD, is a board-certified Internal Medicine specialist with fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in human biology in 2006 at The University of Texas at Austin. She earned her PhD in cellular and structural biology in 2014, with her research focused on breast cancer, and her medical degree in 2016, both at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.

Dr. Zhou completed her Internal Medicine residency in 2019 at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. She completed her fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology in 2022 at the University of California San Diego College of Medicine.

She has presented at numerous local, regional, and national conferences and is a co-author on several papers published in scientific journals. Dr. Zhou also has participated in multiple research projects to study various aspects of hematology and oncology with a focus on breast cancer.

Dr. Zhou joined Kelsey-Seybold in September 2022.

Hobbies & Interests

Dr. Zhou enjoys hiking with her husband and dog, exploring new restaurants in Houston, cooking, and trying new recipes from around the world.

Fun Facts

The most interesting place Dr. Zhou has lived is San Diego, where she spent a few years during her fellowship training. Some of the exotic/interesting places she has visited include Prague, Budapest, and the Swiss Alps.

Not everyone knows this about Dr. Zhou, but she’s a fan of “The Great British Baking Show” and says it never fails to cheer her up.
