Dr. Farooq Cheema earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2005 at King Edward Medical University, Nila Gumbad, Lahore-Pakistan. He completed his Internal Medicine residency in 2011 at Michigan State University. He completed his Pulmonary Critical Care fellowship in 2014 at the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Mich.
Dr. Cheema was an attending physician - Pulmonary/Critical Care with the group practice Western Kentucky Heart and Lung Associates in Bowling Green from 2014-2018. Prior to joining Kelsey-Seybold in 2019, Dr. Cheema was a Sleep Medicine fellow at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.

Dr. Cheema’s favorite book is the “Lord of the Rings” series. When he was a kid, he wanted to be a cab driver when he grew up because it would allow him to drive a car all day.
