Dr. Emma Carroll earned her undergraduate degree in 2010 at The University of Texas at Austin where she received a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology with a concentration in the social aspects of health and disease. She then completed her medical degree in 2015 at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Between 2008 and 2015, she participated in various medical and volunteer programs in Honduras, Ghana, Nicaragua, and Houston. She completed the Houston Methodist Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program in 2019 and served as the chief resident in her final year. Dr. Carroll joined Kelsey-Seybold in 2019 after completing her residency. She is certified in da Vinci® robotic surgery.

Dr. Carroll enjoys spending time with her two children and cooking healthy recipes.
Fun Facts
The most exotic or interesting place Dr. Carroll has lived is Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, when she was in elementary school. Something many people may not know about her is she was born in Glasgow, Scotland. Even as a child, she knew she wanted to be a doctor. She loved science and learning about the human body and knew she wanted to make a difference in people’s lives. Dr. Carroll’s one guilty pleasure is watching reality television.
