Dr. Daniel Catt is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician at Kelsey-Seybold. He completed his Bachelor of Science in business administration with a minor in biochemistry in 2011 at American University in Washington DC. In 2013, he completed his Master of Science in biochemistry and cell biology at Stony Brook University in New York. He went on to complete his medical degree in 2019 at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston in 2022, where he also completed his internship.
Dr. Catt credits his interest in pursuing medicine as a career to both his grandmothers who were nurses. In addition, he was particularly interested in the biology of the human body, which ultimately led him to want to help treat and prevent conditions.
Dr. Catt welcomes adult patients who wish to maintain their health through preventative screenings and advice, in addition to those with chronic conditions that require careful monitoring and medication adjustment. He treats conditions like high blood pressure, obesity and weight loss, diabetes, seasonal allergies, ear infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, injured joints, gout, cold and flu viruses, and thyroid conditions, among others. He has a particular interest in treating an individual’s mental health, as it is a large component of overall physical health. He is particularly attentive to screening for conditions such as depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders.
