Dr. Farjo is board certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. He graduated valedictorian from the University of Baghdad College of Medicine and was a recipient of the University President and Dean Award. He moved to the United States in 2003 for post-graduate training. Dr. Farjo completed a two-year internship in General Surgery and Organ Transplantation at the University of Miami and then completed a three-year Internal Medicine residency at Union Memorial Hospital/University of Maryland in Baltimore.

He then enrolled in a three-year Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine fellowship training at The University of Texas Health Sciences Center at Houston. At The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, he achieved the highest board scores among his peers. Afterwards Dr. Farjo completed a fellowship in Sleep Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine.

Prior to joining Kelsey-Seybold, he worked as part of the critical care staff team at Memorial Hermann Southwest Medical Center, and as a hospitalist in the Western Maryland Health System.

Hobbies & Interests

Dr. Farjo tries to stay active by biking or running. He enjoys spending time with his family. He and his wife enjoy volunteering in the church.
