Anesia Okezie, FNP-C, first earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Prairie View A&M University to begin her nursing career in 1986. Then, in 1989, she earned her Master of Science in health education at Texas Southern University, followed by her Master of Science in Nursing at Walden University in 2015. Anesia joined Kelsey-Seybold as a family nurse practitioner in October 2024.
Inspired to pursue medicine by her mother, Anesia offers compassionate, comprehensive care, considering with each patient how she would want her own medical concerns to be addressed. She sees patients of all ages for well care and for the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions. These include hypertension, Type 2 diabetes, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), UTIs, upper respiratory infections, migraine headaches, joint and muscle pain, and much more. Her clinical interests include primary care as well as the practice of mindfulness in cognitive mental health restructuring. Anesia’s favorite aspects of practicing medicine are the diversity of work environments and opportunities for daily knowledge attainment.
