Andrew Zhang, MD, is a board-certified neurologist who specializes in diagnosing and treating a wide range of neurological disorders. He earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School in 2019. Afterward, Dr. Zhang completed a preliminary year at the Cleveland Clinic in 2020, a Neurology residency at the Cleveland Clinic in 2023, and a Vascular Neurology fellowship at the same institution in 2024. Dr. Zhang joined Kelsey-Seybold in July 2024.
Inspired by his parents' careers in science, Dr. Zhang initially pursued basic science research but found his true passion in patient care. He diagnoses and treats dementia, epilepsy, headaches, movement disorders, neuropathy, multiple sclerosis, stroke, and more. His primary clinical interest is in stroke neurology, which he focused on during his fellowship. In his practice, Dr. Zhang gives patients enough time to share their stories and concerns, emphasizing the importance of listening carefully to provide personalized and effective care.
