Dr. Lothian earned her medical degree from the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark in 2001 and completed her internship and residency at Baylor College of Medicine in 2005.
Awards & Publications
Dr. Lothian has been recognized with a prestigious national certification for excellence in caring for diabetic patients, awarded by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). Certification through NCQA’s national Diabetes Recognition Program comes after a comprehensive, individualized review process to verify a physician’s adherence to national standards of excellence in caring for patients diagnosed with diabetes.
Dr. Amy Lothian has been nationally recognized by the NCQA for excellence in diabetes care.
